Ms. J. Pérez

Jessica Pérez teaches English as a Second Language and Advanced Placement English Language and Composition. She grew up in Los Angeles, California before moving to New York City to attend Columbia University for her bachelor’s degree. Ms. Perez began teaching in 2002 through Teach for America, while studying at Pace University for her masters of education. She began the 2013 school year as Celia Cruz's new Lead Teacher. Ms. Perez is a huge fan of fantasy fiction and reading in general. Do you have a good book to recommend? Her classroom library is always looking for new additions.
